ADMISSION PROCESS FOR GRADES I TO IX


ADMISSIONS

Parents seeking admission to National Public School, Kalkere, for Grades I to IX are requested to register online.

PROCESS FOR REGISTRATION:

Read the guidelines and proceed to fill the registration form.

A large number of parents are seeking admission to National Public School, Kalkere. We would like to inform every parent that we have very limited seats. As per the policy and directive of CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education), we have the following guidelines for admission. Even the department of education follows the same.

● The first priority is for siblings and for children of our staff.

● The second priority is for the nationally mobile group, including central services and other transferable services of India.

● Priority for admissions is also listed for people who are internationally mobile coming from schools outside India.

● Admission will depend upon the number of seats available on account of withdrawal due to parents’ transfer.

● Admissions to Grades I to IX are finalised based on the performance in the Entrance test and the number of seats available on account of withdrawal due to parents’ transfer.

● Parents are requested to check the website periodically for updates regarding the entrance test.

Subjects for Entrance Test

  • Grades 1 – English, Mathematics
  • Grades 2 to 4 - English, Kannada, Hindi, Mathematics
  • Grades 5 - English, Kannada/Hindi, Mathematics and Science
  • Grades 6 to 9 - English, Kannada/Hindi, Mathematics, Science, Social Science

To have an effective teaching learning process, we limit the class strength.

Exerting any influence for admission directly or indirectly will be a disqualification.

RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR ADMISSION:

1. Registration for admission does not ensure an admission. Admission is granted on merit only. Entrance test for classes I to IX is conducted before granting admission.

2. National Public School Kalkere is a private self-financing institution. An annual fee increase of 10 to 15 Percent is effective to offset the increasing expenditure by way of salary, maintenance, and material expenditure.

3. If an intimation is not received, it should be presumed that there are no seats during the year and no separate intimation is sent to the candidates not selected.

4. Any direct or indirect influence will entail outright rejection of such applications and all incomplete applications will also be rejected.

5. School fee once paid is non-refundable.

Note to parents:

Kindly ensure that your child has a good breakfast, carries all the required material with him/her and arrives on time. There is no special preparation to be done for the test.
