Children's Day

"The children of today will make the India of tomorrow. The way we bring them up will determine the future of the country." – Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru

Children's Day is celebrated across India to increase awareness of the rights, care and education of children. It is celebrated on 14 November every year as a tribute to India's First Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who was fondly known as Chacha Nehru among children.

Children’s Day in National Public School, Kalkere was a day filled with fun, joy and cultural extravaganza. The teachers put up a fabulous dance and music show which was followed by the solo dance final performances of our talented students. The fun did not end with this- the students also had a great time in their class party sharing and gorging on a vast array of food items to their hearts content.
