Dhwani 2023

Embracing diverse folk cultures of India, National Public School, Kalkere, conducted a very skilfully crafted inter-school fest - Dhwani, on Friday 21 st July 2023. The fest commenced with the lighting of the auspicious lamp followed by an Invocation dance honouring the deities Saraswati and Ganesha. Our Principal, Ms Shyla Purushotham declared the fest open. It all started with a short film, scripted, directed and produced by our class 11 students, transporting the audience on a Back to the Future time machine car to the venue of Dhwani.
In this mega event schools, from across Bengaluru competed with unparalleled zeal and vigour. The grand show of light and sound was a group activity, comprising 4 events: Jhankar, Sargam, Vivaran and Vastram. Innovative themes, unique props and an array of musical instruments played by young students mesmerised the audience. There were food stalls too, which witnessed long queues. In the closing ceremony, students of class 11, the hosts of the fest, regaled the gathering, dancing to a fusion of peppy numbers followed by Glimpses of Dhwani-in-making. Our Vice Principal, Ms Sumedha Seshu felicitated the Dhwani team and declared the fest officially closed.
……….. and thus we made connections, united cultures and celebrated diversity!!
