School Assembly

Morning assembly is an integral part of our school culture when the entire school community assembles on the school turf to affirm the school’s identity and aspirations. It helps in building a culture of communication and representation of academic and co-curricular activities. All students assemble at the beginning of the school day, where the school prayer is sung, the news is read out, a positive and meaningful thought for the day is delivered and instructions are given. On specifically assigned days of the week, we have a student’s talk and also a motivational talk by a teacher. Each class is assigned a particular week to conduct class-special assembly. It is conducted with active and complete participation of students on topics viz: the value of focus, never give up, the importance of time management, cultural diversity of India, national days, etc. Contents of the morning assembly are conducted differently on Fridays -to facilitate spiritual and physical well-being, mass drill is conducted by the PE faculty; and the School Song is sung by the students, to develop a feeling of affiliation and unity among students and a sense of identity with the school.
Every morning is a beautiful morning-so we are thankful for the new day and abide by Mahatma Gandhi’s saying- “You must be the change you wish to see in the world.”
