Mr. Gowtham

The Dance Club was honored to host a vibrant and enriching dance session led by Mr. Gowtham, a distinguished choreographer and educator with a remarkable track record in the field of dance. Mr. Gowtham is a certified Indian contemporary dancer from ASDA and has been trained under the guidance of Brooke Charlotte at Ontario University, Canada. His talent was recognized early in his career when he emerged as the first runner-up in the nationally televised 7UP Dance Contest. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the field of dance, he was awarded the Best Choreographer for the academic year 2022–23 by Dr. Benny Kuriakose, President of the Karnataka ICSE Association.

The session commenced with an engaging introduction to Mr. Gowtham’s journey, offering students valuable insights into the world of professional dance. He emphasized the importance of dedication, passion, and perseverance in achieving success in the performing arts.

Following the introduction, Mr. Gowtham led the students through a structured warm-up session that included dynamic stretches and fundamental hip hop movements. These exercises were thoughtfully designed to enhance flexibility and prepare students for the intensive routine that followed.

Students responded with great enthusiasm, fully immersing themselves in the experience. For many, it was their first exposure to a professionally guided hip hop class, which they found both challenging and rewarding. The workshop not only enhanced their technical capabilities but also deepened their appreciation for the expressive and powerful art of hip hop dance.

The session concluded on a high note, with students feeling inspired, energized, and eager to continue their journey in dance.
