Celebrating Grit, Teamwork, and Spirited Competition
On Saturday, 4th July, National Public School, Kalkere, pulsed with energy as the Inter-
House Sports Carnival took centre stage. A thrilling showcase of athleticism and
camaraderie, the event spanned basketball, football and badminton, drawing fierce yet
friendly competition across all categories.
This year’s matches were a testament to sportsmanship, perseverance, and excellence. Every House brought its distinct spirit—be it unwavering grit, tactical brilliance, or resounding support.
The basketball court came alive with adrenaline-pumping action. Players showcased slick passes, bold drives, and agile defensive moves. Ideators House soared to the top, clinching first place in both the girls’ and boys’ categories. Designers House were second, again in both the teams- girls and boys.
Football fever swept through the grounds as teams charged through group stages and
semifinals with unwavering enthusiasm. Thinkers House emerged victorious, claiming first place in both the girls’ and boys’ categories. Second place was awarded to the Ideators in the boys category and the Designers in the girls’ category.
On the badminton court, the atmosphere shifted to one of intense focus. Players engaged in fiercely competitive rallies were driven by finesse and determination.
In badminton, the Mixed Doubles title was claimed by the Ideators, with the Thinkers
finishing as runners-up. In the Boys’ Singles category, the Ideators emerged as winners while the Designers secured second place, and in the Girls Singles category, the Entrepreneurs took the top spot, followed by the Thinkers as runners-up.
The Inter House Matches are not merely games; they are chapters in our school’s living legacy of passion and purpose.
