Graduation Day

National Public School, Kalkere, celebrated its third Graduation Day for the batch of 2024-25
on Saturday, 01 February 2025.
The event started with the ceremonial walk past of the Graduands led by our Principal, Vice
Principal and Class teachers. After the customary Invocation Dance and Lighting of the Lamp, our Principal, Ms Shyla Purushotham, addressed the gathering and encouraged the
Graduands to embrace the future with confidence and determination and to cherish every moment spent in school. The Chief Guest Mr Arjun Odeyar, Additional Mission Director,
NRLM, advised the young aspirants to always respect their parents, seize every opportunity
and make wise choices in life.
As the young Graduands walked up the stage to collect their mementoes, the comperes
eloquently, and with a touch of humour, highlighted their journey in school. This was
followed by valedictory speeches delivered by students, who extolled the impact and
influence of the school in shaping and defining them as individuals. A short video capturing
cherished moments evoked nostalgia and fond memories.
The event concluded with the Student’s Pledge, the solemn candle-lighting ceremony and a
celebratory dinner.
