Walkathon - BEAT PLASTIC POLLUTION!!
National Public School, Kalkere organized a two-day Nurture Nature Programme, on Sunday, 4th and Monday, 5th June, 2023.
World Environment Day was celebrated to raise global awareness towards preservation of our environment and most importantly to avoid using plastic. BEAT PLASTIC POLLUTION - this year’s theme, was very enthusiastically transformed into a Cause with a 5 km Walkathon on Sunday 4th June for the students, their parents, and the members of the school staff. The school turf was abuzz with all participants in shades of blue, brimming with excitement and vigour. The Walk commenced from the school turf - placards and banners flying high, chanting of slogans, singing jingles and leading the way with ardent zeal were our Principal Ms Shyla Purushotham and Vice Principal Ms Sumedha Seshu.
An hour and a half later, the Closing Ceremony comprised of sharing joyful cum learning experiences.
