The Culinary Club had the privilege of hosting Mr. Kumud Rai, a distinguished chef and industry expert, as the chief speaker for an engaging expert talk session held on 28th August.
With his vast experience and deep knowledge of the culinary arts, Mr. Rai provided students with valuable insights into the culinary culture and the dynamic hospitality industry. He elaborated on the various academic pathways into hotel management, including admission procedures, curriculum structure, and the wide range of cuisines students are introduced to during their course of study.
Mr. Rai also shed light on the professional hierarchy within the culinary and hospitality sectors and emphasized the importance of cultivating essential skills such as creativity, discipline, and adaptability in the kitchen. His approachable demeanor created an interactive environment, encouraging students to ask questions and gain clarity on their career aspirations.
